The Kāvyaprakāśa काव्यप्रकाश, kavyaprakasha) is a Sanskrit book written by Mammaṭa in the 11th century: Literally “Light of Poetry”. This work is a famous exposition of the conventional definition of Sanskrit Poetry, also termed kāvya-śāstra (‘science of poetry’).
